When is Fiesta open?

Gates open at 10:00am, and the last events are scheduled to finish at 4:00pm Sunday 4th August 2024.


Can I bring my own food & drinks?

No please. Sealed bottled water is OK, but everything else is available for purchase on site. Tassie Scallop Fiesta is a fully licensed event with a strict no BYO policy.

Is the event accessible?
Yes. Fiesta is an accessible event.  Main entrance to the Community Hall, and a ramp out of the hall to the Village Green.


Can I use my credit card?

Some vendors will have their own EFTPOS, but we recommend you cash up before arriving in Bridport.


Are the kids welcome?

Yes, This year we have been able to schedule some children’s entertainment. We will have a children’s program available which will be released closer to the date.

Children tickets are free. Please note that children must be under adult supervision at all times.

Where is the Fiesta held?  
Tassie Scallop Fiesta is held in the main Street of Bridport on the Village Green and in the Community Hall.

What bands are playing?
To be announced through the year keep a watch on our website and socials.

Where is the nearest ATM?
There are no ATM facilities within the Village Green. ATM is located at the “top” IGA in Main Street.

What if I feel unwell during the event?
The Bridport Surf Lifesaving Club provide a first aid station and have their flag flying.

Do you have a program for entertainment? 
The Program will be released closer to the event.

Who organises Tassie Scallop Fiesta?
Fiesta is organised by an incorporated not for profit volunteer committee.  We employ an Event Executive Producer. A volunteer work crew assist with set up and pack down.   

What do you do with my contact details?
Tassie Scallop Fiesta takes privacy seriously and is committed to protecting privacy of your personal information. Personal information will be used only for the purpose/s intended and where the intention includes confidentiality, information will be treated as such unless otherwise required by law. Your contact details will be used to let you know when future Fiesta tickets are going on sale along with any other electronic promotional information for future events. Your contact details will not be made available to any other party or organisation.


Can we bring the family dog too?

No please, for other patrons' peace of mind leave the pets (pooches or parrots even) at home. Trained Guide dogs and Assistance dogs are approved, they must wear their identifiable jackets/ harness and you will need to bring their ID please.


Can I smoke or vape anywhere at the event?

Sorry but no - Tassie Scallop Fiesta is a designated smoke free event; you'll have to take a stroll down the foreshore or anywhere outside the venue... and remember to bin your butts! This includes vaping - no you can’t inside the venue.


Will there be something to sit on?

Yes we will provide some chairs and tables for our guests. You are invited to bring your own seats too.


What if the weather's bad?

We've ordered and been delivered beautiful weather for previous Fiestas. But it is a winter event. There will be cover in the hall and marquees, but dress for the conditions. Rug up and get ready. Fiesta will proceed rain, hail or shine! However, if the weather conditions become a risk to Patrons, Fiesta will notify patrons via email, Facebook and announcements at the event.


Can I enter the scallop splitters' racing?

Unless you are a ridgy didge professional splitter our insurance won't cover you for lost fingers or gashed hands, so probably not.


Can I get a refund of my tickets?

Sorry, No refunds are available.

The following items will not be allowed into the event:
Non-alcoholic drinks in glass bottles (non-alcoholic drinks in unopened sealed plastic bottles are permitted)
Alcohol and illicit substances
Glass
Knives, weapons or other dangerous goods
Share structures/large umbrellas
BBQs, Fire pots or Fireworks
Bikes, Skateboards Scooters or Rollerblades (bikes can be parked near the shops at the bike rack)
Hard eskies (cooler bags ok)
Large tables
Loud hailers or whistles
Professional cameras/video & recording equipment
