Captain O’Briens Craic
Lonnie-based seven-piece punk/folk rock band Captain O’Brien’s Craic will headline the music line-up for Fiesta.
As the name suggests they draw influences from traditional Celtic music and feature banjo, mandolin, accordion and violin as well as loud guitars and drums to produce a sound out of the normal groove.

Meet The Shoplifters, Launceston’s hottest new barbershop quartet! This talented foursome - Aaron Beck (Lead), Thomas Wyly (Bass), Nick Cronin (Baritone), and Will Robertson (Tenor) - are on a mission to lift the profile of barbershop singing in Launceston and Tasmania, one harmony at a time.

Sparrowgrass
A fledgling folk trio from the Devonport area, Sparrowgrass combines 3 divine voices with a focus on lush harmonies and a range of acoustic instruments.
Versatile and fun, with roots firmly planted in Celtic and Australian folk traditions, Sophie, Tessa and Alex first and foremost make music to please themselves.
Since forming in 2024, they have performed at folk festivals nationally and across Tasmania. Heart-warming, with jaw-droppingly beautiful voices, Sparrowgrass will leave you with the warm and fuzzies.
CJ is joining us too
Christopher “CJ” Jones is a dedicated and accomplished pianist who began playing at the age of six, studying under his father Scott Jones using the Simple Music method.
Over the years, CJ has developed a versatile and expressive style, reflected in his outstanding success, across classical, modern, romantic, baroque and postmodern repertoire.
A standout moment in CJ’s career, was his appearance on the ABC television program “The Piano.”
Helicopter Flights
You can enjoy Helicopter Rides with Unique Charters at Tassie Scallop Fiesta on Sunday 4 August near the Bridport Village Green.
Flights available from 10.30 a.m. – 3.30 p.m. Minimum of 2 but up to 3 people per ride Cost of the ride is $60.00 per person. Subject to weather conditions.
Your Helicopter Ride would include a 6 minute scenic ride around Bridport. Tickets can be booked on the day with Unique Charters – Flinders Island Aviation.
