Banquet with boots on to kick off Fiesta

A bayside banquet under canvas and the stars on the Bridport Village Green will help kick off festivities for the Tassie Scallop Fiesta.

The feast will be held on Fiesta eve, Saturday 2 August, with diners encouraged to glam up at least to the ankles.

The sumptuous dinner will be catered by renowned events and functions specialists Hubert and Dan, with head chef Danielle Lefrancois dreaming up a mini degustation of prime fare, including an imaginative scallop entre.

A musical backdrop will be provided by the Tasmanian Harp and Violin Duo.

Diners will also be able to take in some pre-dinner entertainment as the Priscilla on the Bay jet ski performers wind up a spectacular show on the estuary at dusk.

Places at the dinner table will be limited, so those interested in the experience should book early.

Includes: Four course degustation dinner by Hubert + Dan. A welcome drink. Entertainment by Tasmanian Harp and Violin Duo, plus an appearance from The Giant Chef.
